Fat Tuesday Celebration!! Emilie, Mikaela, Hanna and I all met up for a Fika for the long awaited for Semla. In Sweden this is what they eat to bring in Lent, like many country's its something really sweet! It used to be that you couldn't have this amazing thing until Fat Tuesday, lucky for me that has changed and you can get them as early as New Years. Mikaela actually waited until Tuesday to eat a semla, more power to her, I couldn't resist! What is a Selma you might be wondering.. well it's sweet bread, with a sugar/marzipan layer and lots of whip cream. It is Divine! But surprisingly not to, to sweet, but just enough!
