My study spot!

Swedish is not an easy language to learn. It has a lot of rules but every single one of them has exceptions. Yesterday I spent the whole day trying to memorize all the forms for each irregular verb and know how to order food from a fancy restaurant the rest was in my opinion is pretty easy, but still I studied it. So today at 9 a.m I took the exam and as usual I blanked on most of it, I am keeping positive and I am praying that I passed.

There is no where I would rather be!

Have you ever had so many moments when you feel so amazing, auspicious, over joyed, blessed or simply just so happy that you could burst? Have you ever sat in the sun with your eyes closed just listening to the sounds of nature? Have you ever enjoyed everyday so much that you just don't want it to end? I have felt like this so many times since I have been here in Sweden. I look around me and I can see just how amazing life really is. Almost every morning I wake up happier and I feel more alive then ever. Spring time is a great time of the year here, everything is in bloom and the hints of what winter have gone. The sun is out for at least 18 hours a day, and the birds have their favorite songs. There is no where I would rather be!

The Tree

This Tree is outside our house and I love it! I smell it everyday when I leave and when I come back and when I see it, it makes me smile because I know I am home. It is the most beautiful tree, but it hasn't always been. This winter when we looked at it we figured it wouldn't even have leaves, but to our surprise it bloomed these beautiful flowers. Its the kind of tree you want to sit under and day dream under.

The people who change your life

I have met some of the best people in the world while I have been here in Sweden and I wouldn't trade them for the world. Some have changed my life and I will forever be grateful for them and will never let them go. They will always have a special place in my heart. Kram till alla

Busy busy busy

So in the last few weeks I have been so busy with getting things ready for next semester back home, finals here, and what travel I can do in between. So a little bit about it all...

I went to Norway! We went to Bergan and Flåm and did a lot of hiking and hiked the glacier! It was so much fun. The bus ride was long and would make any normal human go a little crazy. The bus sat about 100 of us and just about every seat was full and when you need to sit for 15 hours, with almost no where to move, it gets to be a little much. Despite it I would do it again. I tried Whale meat from the fish market, cant say I am a fan, but it was worth it to try. We hiked the beautiful fjords, and saw plenty of water falls. I have also been to Tallinn which is in Estonia. We took a cruise from Stockholm to Tallinn and back again for a 3 day excursion. There were over 1000 students on the boat from University's from all over Sweden, Estonia, and Finland. It was so much fun! Of course there was a quite a bit of drinking involved... so that was interesting. The boat had everything, Salsa lessons, which were so much fun! A pool but I didn't bring a suet, a buffet, a duty free shop, live music, and the list goes on. I now understand why so many people actually like cruise ships! And all the crazy pictures from this trip are, http://picasaweb.google.com/Sara.Avadarian/TallinnTrip?authkey=Gv1sRgCJyF1LuRkcSLiQE&feat=directlink

And last but not least I have been enjoying the Swedish Spring. This time of the year is so unpredictable but so beautiful. The trees are all in bloom, and the flowers make the air smell fresh and clean. We had the biggest party of the year at our house this last Saturday night. It was a beach party with coconuts, water balloons and a pool! My cousins Henrik and Sara came down from Sunne with Robert and Carolina too. It was so nice having them here, I had really missed them.

So that in a nut shell is what has been going on here these last few weeks, sorry for the delay but better late then never I think
